Founded by people in Troy, Montana, the RMEF has conserved ~ 7 million acres of habitat since it’s start in 1984, and it has helped reestablish elk herds in Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Ontario, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
